Town Council Filled Council Vacancy
 
  • Deadline to file candidacy for the Bethany Beach Town Council closed 7/28
  • Sitting Councilmen Jerry Morris and Patrick Sheplee filed for two of three open seats
  • Sitting Councilman Joseph Healy did not file to run in this year's election
  • No new candidates filed prior to deadline
  • Open seat announced on 7/28 according to Council Charter
  • Seven applicants for open seat - 5 made oral presentations on 8/16
  • Scott Edmonston chosen by Councilmembers on 8/20
