  • Environmental expert Chip Smith provided well-praised testimony at Sussex County Council 2/22 hearing on Buffers Ordinance
  • BBLA President Kathy Sierra sent County Council a Statement for the Record re proposed Buffer Ordinance
  • Communications and Advocacy Director Mary Louise Embrey covered the U.S. Senate Field Hearing in BB on Examining Shoreline and Riverbank Restoration in the face of Climate Change and arranged follow-up mtgs with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers & Gov. Carney's Office
  • Lee Bunting serves on Town's Charter & Ordinance Committee and the Cultural & Histori Affairs Committee, Chairs BBLA's new Partnerships Committee and attends the Association of Coastal Towns meetings
  • Patrick McGuire leads BBLA's new Growth Committee - met with County Planning & Zoning & grassroots responsible growth groups
  • Kathy Shorter and Diane Fogash serve on the BB Planning & Zoning Committee
  • BBLA Vice President Ron Dobes serves on the Town Telecommunications Committee
  • Chip Smith is an active member of the Town's Stormwater and Flooding Committee & leads BBLA's Environmental Committee
