Town Council Held Public Hearing on April 12th on Ordinances re Ground Covering Restrictions Permitted on Residential Lots

Beach Renourishment Scheduled for Fall 2022
  • $8.65 M made available through the Infrastructure and Jobs Act for beach renourishment
  • About 2 miles of DE coastline (BB & South Bethany) added to a scheduled US Army Corps of Engineer’s storm risk management and nourishment project for Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Fenwick Island

  • Also working collaboratively on growth issues with Sussex 2030
  • Committee members examining various single-family subdivisions planned for Sussex County to determine impact on BB area
