  • Read Governor Carney's 24th Modification: State of Emergency Declaration - one of the provisions provides restaurant patrons the ability to participate in contact tracing - "Food and drink establishments are now also required to give customers the option to leave information on file to help with contact tracing in the event of a positive case being linked to the establishment."
 
  • Mark Your Calendar for the Town Council Election:
  • Election on 9/12/20 Noon - 6:00 PM in Town Hall - 214 Garfield Parkway - absentee ballots are available
  • Read the Town Notice for list of candidates & voting instructions

  • Zoom Webinar allowed for voting and member "chats"
  • By-laws change was approved to allow for future virtual meetings as needed

  • Orsted (wind farm project) announced on 7/10/20 construction of an interconnection facility at Fenwick Island State Park is no longer in the works due to environment concerns - a new interconnection site will be announced in the near future
 
  • BBLA-sponsored "Town Staff Appreciation Day" to be held on 8/20/20
  • BBLA recognizes extra efforts and staff flexibility during this difficult and unusal summer
